Ok I've had a computer i built about half a year ago it has a MSI P6n Platinum Mobo with a e6400 oced to 3 ghz, 4 gb of ram, an 8800 gts 320mb vid card, and runs vista ultimate 32 bit. Now the problem i pose is that whatever game i run, regardless of at what speed my cpu was at( just oced like a day ago) i still get sever black lines, and huge black error shadows on games. I have all my drivers updated to the latest, along with the latest dx10 drivers. This is a problem that seems to plague this system no matter what i do so is it a hotfix issue or a hardware one. (mind you the error is not horrible, i can easily play games, it just seems to happen at odd times, especially on in game cutscenes.)
My psu is a 550 watt rosewill, it isnt clogged up because i do clean out the dust fro mmy case regularly. It seems to be a problem with the shader as it really is only an effect on shadows.
that is graphic card artifacts. have u overclocked your graphics card? also check the cards(and all system) temperatures. if u dont overclock and the temps r fine then i suggest u remove the card and try another one if possible. or try the same card in another machine and see if any problems come up. last thing that could be a problem is ur psu. rosewill isnt exactly cutting edge.
