I asked everyone about this and a few people tried helping but what they said never worked
To get to the point, everytime I try to play a game, it always goes slow and will freeze for a few seconds, I bought this cpu last october, only used 10 of 70 GB, I'm not a cpu expert or don't know much about on what to do for this situation. I did disk defragment, a friend told me to hit ctrl+alt+delete and go to process and shut down some programs, that still didn't work. I downloaded adaware 6 and deleted all the spyware, that still didn't fix it. Someone also mentioned I could've fried my video card, I don't know how I could of but is there anything else I could do to fix this problem?
The game I recently have tried to play is the sims, I have alot of other games I'd like to play but it does the same tot he others.
Oh and I have windows XP if needed to know.

Hi,
Have you tried installing the latest drivers for your display card?Have you installed the latest version of directx?
Check you virtual memory and paging file sizes, you don't want them to be to small nor too big. If they are set to windows will manage, leave the settings alone.
Have you checked your ram to see that it is not corrupt.
Good luck

What are your Computer Specs? Are your games always slow? If so, you might need to upgrade your video card.
