Hello,

OS: Win Xp Pro
Ram: 2x512 mb
CPU: P4 2.4ghz
Video:ATI Raedon 9700 pro 128mb
Sound:Turtle Beach Santa Cruz\
MB:Asus P4R800-VM 1003 bios revision
PSU:420W

I am having a serious problem with my computer. When playing Unreal Tournament 2004 or Lineage 2(based off the unreal engine as well), my computer will randomly freeze up or go to a blue screen for a split second and reboot. The timing is very random between times of heavy load and times of light load. I have already updated my graphics drivers and sound drivers, as well as done the windows updates, including SP1, and bios updates. I have also unplugged some of my lighted fans in case it is a power issue. My processor stays at about 35 to 42 degrees celsius. I have re-seated my ram and video card in case that could be effecting it. But I am still having a problem and i am stumped on what to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jeff Allen

i had the same problem as well. test it in another computer, preferably with a diff model motherboard. then download the old drivers, like 3.7 or something, see if that works. make sure its not overheatting, although i doubt it is. try reformatting. then when all else fails email ati and get an RMA number and send it back.
