frequent crash to BSOD

CPU/Ram: 3000+ 1gb

i seem to get frequent blue screen crashes and it would say machine_check_exception or something at the very top and its only when im doing something that is demanding power from the computer like playing a game or opening more than 2 internet explorers and playing music at the same time it would crash all the time or it would on occasion any help?

athlon 64 3000+
evga 7800GT
512 x 2 kingston DDR1 Ram
GA-K8N51GMF-9 motherboard
Western Digital 80GB


AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1GB x2 512 DDR RAM

It would help if you knew what the error message was...

Maybe your RAM timing could be too aggressive, like forcing RAM default CL3-3-3 run at 2-2-2, then you would get BSOD...

scanned frequently for viruses my computer seems at a stable temperature im not sure how to check hard drive corruption or PSU problem but i get the feeling also its ram to
