Comment: I have an HP Pavillion a705w 512 AMD Athlon XP 3000 with a Geoforce FX 5500 installed after purchase May 2005. When playing NHL 2005 or Painkiller, etc. I keep freezing and then continues play. What's going on. Thanks.

Reply: (edit)Keep in mind that's not a very fast card to begin with. Are you sure you didn't crank your resolution and image quality settings too high? First things to try would be update your gfx card and chipset drivers. Check www.nvidia.com for gfx card drivers, and www.hp.com for anything else.
