Football Manager 2007

Specs: Windows Vista
The above game suddenly stopped working one day after being fine for years.

I have a feeling it may be something to do with some 'unwanted' iteams i deleted from my hard drive to free up some space that were probably required to run the game.

Now the game won't even uninstall so is stuck on my HD, every time I try to unistall a message pops up saying

'No Java runtime environment (JRE) was found on the system'

then I click 'OK' on that box and another appears saying

'A suitable JVM could not be found. Please select a JVM by selecting its java.exe file'

Another 'ok' clicked and it just pops up with the contents of my Desktop files.

Any help on how to delete this? Or what i've deleted that's ruined my game and what I need to download to get it working again?

Thanks for any help

'No Java runtime environment (JRE) was found on the system'

Should be pretty self explanitory.

Download Java for your desktop computer now!

And if that doesn't help, try reinstalling the game.
