Comment: hey does anybody know if final fantasy has an alternative way to paying there monthly online fee, such as a 60 day card like w0w has and other similar games, i would rather not use a credit card. ?

Reply: (edit)I have heard that if u buy the 360 version of this game, you can play for free (apart from a once off character fee) Can anyone confirm / abolish this. Maybe it is an idea for the original poster to return their game and buy the 360 version to play on their PC... (Tell me to shut up if im wrong cause ill hit my friend that told me this...) Reply: (edit)Hi there, I used to play FFXI and though I used a Mastercard I had a friend who used his VISA debit card and it also worked (as FFXI accepts Mastercard and Visa). Solo/Switch Debit cards are also accepted from the UK. Another way of not paying by credit card would be to use the Paypal virtual credit card (that is accepted anywhere that accepts Mastercard) I guess you would debit money on the account and it would get taken out like a normal card. Anyway good luck and also the XBOX360 version isn't free unfortunately, its the same as the PC version free for 30 days and then monthly payment applies :(.
