I've got another problem with farcry,
I just got a Geforce FX5900XT 128MB and it works perfect with other games, but with farcry ist a disaster.
It works with some levels perfect with evrything on very\ultra high and 1280x1024x32 but after about 3 minutes the game freeses, if i hit ctrl-alt-del it go's back to windows and give me this error:CRIRICAL EXCEPTION

1] function=0x0With some levels the game doesn't even start and freeses right after when the loading is completed.

Yeah I've gotten that to. Make sure your vid card drivers are up to date. And also I've noticed that if I turn too many settings up too high, the game doesn't like that. I'm on a crappy Geforce 4 Ti 4400.
So maybe keep your settings down a notch. Perhaps the game uses functions that your card can't support yet?

Also install the Farcry 1.1 patch. Boosted my fps.
