I placed this function in the
DevMode.lua of farcry... as instructed from the gamfaqs webpage..
http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/code/33095.html---------------
function GodMode()if _localplayer then
_localplayer.cnt.health = 99999;
_localplayer.cnt.armor = 99999;
Hud:AddMessage(''[CHEAT]: Give 99999 health and armor'');
System.LogToConsole(''\001CHEAT: Give 99999 health and armor'');
else
Hud:AddMessage(''[CHEAT]: No godmode today'');
end
end
--------------
I tagged the exe file with the "-devmode" command
"G:\Program Files\Far Cry\Bin32\FarCry.exe" -devmode------
after doing this I typed in the relevant cheat code #GodMode() in the console but it does seem to work...
Does this only work If I start a whole new game...?Oh this is a patched version 1.1 Farcry

Quit cheating, unless you have beatn the entire game on the harder setting, and have gotten everything.

Don't worry this was for the final volcano level,
Finally finished with out the cheating, took 2 hours of reloading checkpoints but its done.
Beautiful game, long and well thought out possibly the best FPS ever, (well playing Doom3 now and not as excited!)
Great changing environments..
Now I can be off with it and give my hardrive some much needed space...."Qualifying is skill, racing is luck" Aryton Senna
