Comment: I knew that I was going to upgrade my rig so, not knowing where the saved games were in the far cry folder and not wanting to start the entire game over again, I saved the entire thing. Now, I want to transfer the saved games to the upgraded rig. Any idea which folder they are in. There's not a "Saved Games" folder or anything like that. I could go through and compare each folder in the saved ones to the newly installed ones on the new rig, but I still run the risk of missing something. Has anyone done this before? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Reply: (edit)dannyboy... Thanks for the location... It's actually C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Profiles\player\default\savegames You've save me a lot of time replaying the game. Take care.

Reply: (edit)no problem mate :) I know you have to click down a couple more levels to get the actual save files, but I wasn't sure whether you had created more than profile, so I thought it'd be best to point you to the profiles folder ;) btw, whatever you do, don't install the 1.2 patch - it crashed my game and, in the process, broke most of my savegames :( Ubisoft have withdrawn the patch but it's still available from a few sites - avoid like the plague!!
