Comment: Hey ive been having to many problems with far cry game i cant make the place look beautiful with out having a freaken glitch or big black area al over the place what can i do, I just bought a 6800 GT i thougth that would fix the problem but there's still to many glitches. The FPS are fine it just look nasty, the water has no reflection and is all plain, i have all settings maxed the water still looks crapy
what can i do?

Reply: (edit)Update your DirectX to 9.0c
Update your Nvidia display drivers to the latest ones.
If you haven't already got the FarCry 1.1 Patch, this also may help somewhat.

Reply: (edit)I too have problems now. It worked fine with my FX5600, but my upgrade to a Radeon 9800 pro has led to glithces, flickery images, graphics disappearing and re-appearing. I dunno.... lol..... time for a fresh reinstall.....
