FarCry's Config file is located in defult "c:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Bin32" look for the file called "system.cfg" Open it with notepad to edit it, then navigate down till it reads this:

r_FSAA = "x"
r_FSAA_samples = "x"

set r_FSAA = "x" to 1 so it looks like this

r_FSAA = "1"

When set to one it enables AA, when set to zero it disables AA. The next line is for how many samples or passes of AA you want. Most commen are: 2,4,6,8 the higher you go the more AA you get.

Wow.. litz.. are you running far cry on the computer you have listed in your forum info?... If so then tell me your secret! Because I have the case right before my eyes and it says AT LEAST 1 GHZ PIII OR ATHLON processor.. And its hard enough to play games on the lowest requirements...

hi all,

first of all, i've get it done using another way. i deleted the "system" file locate in the "far cry" folder and when i try re-starting, it reset everything back to default.

Avun,

this is my comp. specs :
p3 733mhz (@840mhz)
512mb kingston value ram
gf2 mx400 64mb vga (overclock core-251mhz / memory-176mhz)

aa/af-off. most of the setting is set to medium except the last three option to low(i couldn't remember what are they)

and while playing the game, i turn off everything on mi system tray except speaker volume adjust.

and i do agreed its not really smooth game play, but is acceptable to me.
