Guys I have removed and did everything you said me to do... But as a result only 53.03 runs perfect with Far Cry i tried 61.76 by removing 53.03 from Add/Remove Programs but still the same problem... It is like all the environment of the game is in blue color. What i can see during the gameplay is just a blue world lolz....
My graphic card is nVidia Fx-5200.
In my view 61.76 is the best driver on nvidia all games works smoother on this version except one "Far Cry". So how come this game is not working properly (why isnt it showing the real world instead of blueish crap)... I tried changing the resolution + object detail (From Low to High) but still the same problem please help me guysI hate those people who dont share their problem and solutions with other people...

There was a recalled patch recently...perhaps that's one of the bugs with the game that was fixed with the recalled patch?
I would assume the patch will be rereleased soon.
MCSE, MCSA Messaging, baby!

I have the same card and I play FarCry too. Never experienced such problems. Uninstall/reinstall the game, and apply the 1.1 patch and see if it goes way.
I'm still using the recalled 1.2 without any problems (besides the classic online issue).
FarCry DOES have undocumented OpenGL support. It's not in the in-game menu; you must enable it in a cfg file.
AMD Athlon XP 2700+
Asus A7V600-X
512 MB of DDR RAM
GeForce FX 5200 (256 MB)
Seagate 120 GB SATA

this just in: "- Fixed fog bug with NVidia drivers" refering to the update 1.1. i have that same problem and im going to try this

I had exactly the same problem with the blue/grey fog AFTER i installed the latest 61.76 nvidia drivers - it was fine before.
However, after installing the 1.1 Far Cry game patch it solved the problem and now the graphics are fine.
I have noticed the odd glitch in the game now though, i.e. sometimes the 'dead' trijans remain animated on screen and I recently had a game freeze at a save game point - this never happened before the 1.1 patch.
Hope the above info is useful to someone.
Andy
