Hey all! First time here! Anywho, I got myself an Alienware for Christmas and well, for some reason the F keys will not work when I play any game. Not sure if It's only games but that what I use this computer for mostly.

Example: In one flight sim game, I need to press F1-F5 to change to various views but it does nothing when I press any of them.

My keyboard is an Alienware standard Microsoft USB keyboard. I have been looking around in the device manager and other places in my system properties but still cannot find anything that will let me "enable" the F keys for any programs, (games).

Any help is greatly appreicated!

I have the same stupid keyboard, you have to press the 'f-lock' key in the upper right hand corner of the board.
