Hey everyone,
Every time I try to load something like Norton Anti Virus or most games, it comes up with an error before instiallation and says "Windows 16 Subsystem cannot enter safe mode. Please make sure that DOSX.exe is in your AUTOEXEC.NT and is present in your path." Then it exits instiallation. I've never had this before - any help would be highly appriciated.
Thanks

Hi Winhelp-
Have you considered a system restore, back to a date/time before this started? If not,you may want to do that. Also,a thorough system scan & clean disc may (or may not) help. There's a neat site called "PC Pitstop" that assists with all sorts of problems & provides autofixes, etc.
Anyway, you oughtta keep the system restore in mind.GL-
Birgitta
