Comment: Hi everyone -- I recently brought a game called sniper elite. My problem is that my DVD-ROM drive doesn't recognise the disc. Whenever I put the disk in the DVD-ROM drive it just makes some terrible noises and them my whole computer freezes until I take it out. My computer easily meets the recommended spec. and there is no dirt on the CD -- and my pc works fine with other games. I tried updating the firmware but that didn't make any difference. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Best, James

Reply: (edit)specify what make etc. becuase it could be a bad drive or bad drivers, there are quite a few possibilities look in control panel>system>device manager(under the hardware tab) and try an dfind your device to see if the drivers are ok
