Every time I download the patch version 2.2 from the Dungeon Siege 2 official site it downloads as a .zip file, even though it is supposed to be an .exe file.
I can extract the files and try running them but nothing happens. I ensured all file associations are correct. I tried it in safe mode. I downloaded the file at work and it downloads as an .exe just as it did from my friend's place with Vista. I put the .exe file on a flash drive and bring it home and place it on my desktop. When I try to run the .exe my computer STILL wants to unzip it and run it with winzip. If I click on the executable when I extract the files absolutely nothing happens.
I need help so I can patch this game and play with a friend online. Please help.
