drivers for northtek geforce6600 gt

i have a geforce 6600 gt agp 128 card and the drivers on the northtek website (the manufacturer of the card, have drivers that include forceware 71.84. should i use these since they might have hardware specific settings? or shuld i just get the latest from nvidia? i looked at scores on 3dmark and people with similar systems as me are getting better scores with the 71.84 drivers.
Summary: What are your opinions of the Omega drivers for Nvidia cards? Will I notice a big difference verses using Nvidia's drivers? Should I completely remove Nvidia drivers before I install the Omega drivers...
