An nVidia GeForce 3 graphics card or better; or an ATI Technologies 8500 or better

What is so hard about giving an answer and being nice about it. Why is everyone trying there upmost to be like Jam(no offence Jam, you know your stuff but your nasty sometimes)

THIS IS A FORUM. PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS. SOME PEOPLE DON'T LIKE GOOGLE.

I don't usually start off being nasty, but when someone continually posts questions that could easily be answered by plugging a few keywords into google (or any other search engine), it bothers me. Do you think I know all this stuff off the top of my head? I use google to back up my replies just like everyone else.

I do find it ironic that bigbwoi2000 is telling someone to use google though. He's posted 20+ questions in the past couple of weeks, many of which could have been easily answered if HE had used google. I (& others) have commented about his lack of "googling" too...maybe it's payback time...LOL!

I've sometmies copied the person's question directly into google and gotten the answer!

telling someone that they could have gotten their answer from Google is not being mean (although the manner in doing it can be). Have you ever heard the proverb about teaching someone to fish as opposed to giving them a fish?

I saw this post last night and decided not to respond because the information requested is readily available. How hard is it to find the official site for the game and get this info? By the way, how many times do people need to ask the question of what the difference is between XP Home and Pro on the XP forum. It seems to come up at least once a week.

You have to take the psychology into account, people come here for expert help with out having to pay for expert-exhcange.

I would assume the people that dont google want to have some communication and possibly a bit more info or realation to their current problem. It's like being pacified when another human helps you, plus as with almost every post here theres about 3 humans ready to go at the subject.

Google is good, but honestly, were better.

Good question Michael J. If you had to sum up the difference between Home & Pro, what would your answer.

Most questions asked on most forums have already been posted at some point or another but some people would just ask the question again rather than search for the answers.

Your right Jam, I think bigbwoi2000 is on one LOL

There's no reason to ask for information you can just as easily get yourself. We're here to help, not to breathe for you.

If you can't google search "Doom 3 system requirements" or go to id's site and get them, it inevitably leads to Dr. Cox syndrome where eventually someone is gonna say...

That is what got me started posting/helping at this site to begin with. I googled a few problems I was having & ended up here...the rest is history!

Google 'strip poker' and open the first or second site you get. I like this and it's free.

I can see the stock for Iron Lungs going up as we speak (or type actually).

"Good question Michael J. If you had to sum up the difference between Home & Pro, what would your answer."

I'd just do a search here and post the links in my response - if I even felt like responding since, as it is very readily available.
