Ya i know i prob should be asking this to an xbox forum but i wanna know....in place of an xbox hub can i use a computer router(Linksys) to hook more than 2 xboxes up or will it screw with the lan line?
thanks in advance

I don't think it should make a difference. but i think in order to have 2 xboxes online you might need 2 xbox live accounts, and that might require 2 different IPs? i'm not sure because i don't have xbox. btw, if your router is wireless i believe you'll need a linksys bridge to connect to the xbox.

Yes, if you are thinking about connecting more than two XBOXs, you'll need a hub.
It's exactly like doing a computer network, just use the ethernet connections.
Halo LAN games are fun. =)
But one thing, you will need to have the hub ALONE, as in not connected to the internet. I've only done it without the internet, and we had no problems....but I don't know. Maybe you can use it while connected to the internet. Bleh.
