Does vanilla 6600 agp need a molex?

my friend is curious as to whether or not a nvidia 6600 (agp) requires a seperate molex connection or if it's a case os simply sliding it in the AGP slot? And I have no idea obviously.

It's going to need a connection. Depending on what brand he gets, it might have the cable packaged to split off the HD or CD.

You might want to look at the PSU too, make sure you got at least 300w in that puppy.
