Hi.
I'm just wondering if my graphic card sucks and i should get new one. I got ATI Radeon 9200 (GV-R9200). I cant find any reviews for this graphics card so i just want to know what other people feel about this graphic card.
And if i should get another graphic card what would you recommand me to buy, which is around $50~200.
THX.

Hi. Go here and you'll probably find your answer :)

Tips for Computer Newbies

If I were you, I would just stick with ATi Radeon 9200, because it is still a very good video card.

for a good Card that is 50-200 dollars , go with the Radeon 9600pro or the 9500pro (128meg) I have the 9600pro and it makes all the difference in my computer, because my RAM and MOBO are crap. Do not go with the NVIDIA FX card line, if you do go nvidia go for the Geforce 4600 128meg. But that may be well over 200 dollars.

I have a 128 MB Radeon 9000 Pro (and have had it for a couple years now), so after using it for a couple years, it still works, and it still works very very very well as it used to. I actually haven't had a single problem with it. I think your local BestBuy should have it for under $100. My brother has a 8500 and it actually runs a better 3DMark Benchmark than my 9000 Pro. So I suppose an 8500 could be another choice. If you're patient you can save up a lot of extra money and get the 9800. But I will say don't go with NVidia. By the way, the 9600 is supposed to be really good, too. (I guess I'm a ATi fanboy). I hope I helped :-)

i guess i'll stick with my 9200 till 9600 or 9800 get cheaper. cause i'm not having any problem with 9200 right now. So, i'll be patient :)

Its ok a good card for now. Its a DX9 card right? So it should last a while. The best card out is the GeForce FX 5900 ultra but thats bout $500 i think. Waste of money. I have a s--- system but i bought an ATI 9700 (not the pro version) for bout $150 and now all my games run a full specs with AA and anistropic filtering :) Bargain.

i have a radeon 9500 128MB if you can still find them to buy their good to Softmod to radeon 9700 speed. however watch for artifacts.. with my system i be getting over 12,000 3D marks :) i have an athlon 2600+ and NTL 600k etc.. all the stuff. just go for a geforce 4 ti 4600 + or higher like the radeon range. i hear the radeon from 9000+ most are performing better than the nvida range at the moment.
