Hi,
I found some years ago a very nice game, Spyro Year of the Dragon, whose platform was a PS2. However, I do not have a PS2 and have decided to wait for the PS3 to come out, but I really want to play that game... Knowing that PS2 games are recorded on CDs, I was wondering whether the CDs worked on computers. Do they? It would be great to play on Spyro without having to buy a PS2 for it...

Used to be a program called Bleem that ran ps and ps2 games on a pc. No idea if it still exists.

An emulator is a piece of software which will allow certain types of console games to be run on a PC.

Bleem will certainly run PS1 games, but not PS2, there has yet to be a successful PS2 emulator released.

Some people are like Slinkies?, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

even if you find emulators for PS2, isn't it that PS2 games are in DVD format??? i think that an ordinary CDROM drive can read that...
