Do PS2 CDs work on computers?

Hi, I found some years ago a very nice game, Spyro Year of the Dragon, whose platform was a PS2. However, I do not have a PS2 and have decided to wait for the PS3 to come out, but I really want to play that game... Knowing that PS2 games are recorded on CDs, I was wondering whether the CDs worked on computers. Do they? It would be great to play on Spyro without having to buy a PS2 for it... Cristallerine.

An emulator is a piece of software which will allow certain types of console games to be run on a PC.
Bleem will certainly run PS1 games, but not PS2, there has yet to be a successful PS2 emulator released.
