guys , i have 2.8 HT,256(400Mhz) intel 915 mobo.

i wanted to buy Geforce 4 FX, but now i can play MOH, COD, FIFA2005 at high resolutions with good frame rate. But some higher games like nfsu2 i play at low detail- dozent matter.

any one know that how much 915 board grafix ram is? it is good for descent gaming.
any one think i shud get geforce4 ?

plz relpy.

Hmm, u can upgrade to Geforce if u like or ATI, i prefer Geforce cards for stability.
Post what type of Motherboard you are using Make Model Number?
Also u need to be looking at a AGP card firtsly.

ok.
i got intel D915GAV mobo. also i donno how to share system ram with mobo's grafix device. sometimes it shows 64 or 128 mb grafix ram (in bios)

Y would you want to share system ram, that only applies when you have onboard sound, and it seems like you do.
You currently have this GFX card onboard..

IntelĀ® GMA900 onboard graphics subsystem

If you want to play games with a decent framerate you will need to purchase a PCI-Express GFX card, since your motherboard does support that. Here have a look here for one..

if you have a AGP port get a radeon 9800xt 256MB RAM I got one with my xp3000 AMD and 1GB RAM and NFS Underground 2 runs on highest detail with no problem

no need to upgrade to PCI express

Well i would upgrade to PCI express, since his mobo supports it y not, he will stay well ahead and be able to play any game he wants wuth top notch framerate.
