If theres a constant pulsating noise in the background, does taht mean that i would want to consider getting a new sound card? do sound cards effect how your computer runs programs smoothly or not or have any relation to running computer programs? Some of my games are freezing up and delaying and when they are loading, the sound is uncontrollable. Does this mean i need a new sound card? If it does, then which one should i get or which company manufactures the best?

you definitely have something going on, but it's not necessarily a bad sound card. When's the last time you scanned for spyware? Scanned for viruses? Used MSCONFIG to stop useless programs from loading? Defragged the HDD? Used CCleaner to delete accumulated crap? Updated your drivers? All of the above is considered normal maintenance...
This space for rent

how do i do all of those things otehr than the spyware and viruses, because i run both of those all the time. i have no idea how to do the other ones. email me at wakypnguindvl666@gmail.com so i can figure it out.

Could've expressed all this the first time around

If you get people asking the wrong questions, you don't have to worry about the answers

well i got into more detail because people weren't giving me asnwers. i reposted it so i could get more oppinions or answers, so if you dont have an answer or any sort of help at all, then dont reply.

I swear, there oughta be a fence put up around this forum.
You didn't get responses to your original question for some very simple reasons:
1) Your question was so lacking in detail as to be basically meaningless
2) Very likely the wrong forum for what amounts to a hardware question
You don't like the answers you get, try asking *better* questions - and quit snotting off to the grownups - - now g'wan boy, ya bother me
If you get people asking the wrong questions, you don't have to worry about the answers

lol..
hey wacky, click start> programs> accessories> system tools to find most of those programs, as for MSCONFIG, click start> run -then type MSCONFIG and hit enter, go to the startup tab and disable all. unless you know what you're doing (and since u didnt even know the programn existed, then I will assume that you don;t) leave the other tabs in MSCONFIG alone.
P.S. don't ask somebody to email the answer to you, the point of a forum is to help all people, not just you, if the answer is only told to you (via email) then this thread will never help anyone else.
