uuuhhh, Nope. The TI4200 was a good card in its day but I wouldent say it was better than a X1600 Pro. What makes you think you have downgraded it? The X1600 Pro should be wiping the floor with it really.

No, you certainly didn't downgrade, but you definitely wasted your money on the 512MB version of the X1600Pro.

No, you didn't downgrade. You're probably thinking of the 9600 Pro, which was a slight downgrade when it came to DX8 apps (which were common back then).

The 9600 Pro was a quite a bit better than the 4200. Especially on UT2004
