i cant figure out how to make an image of d2 lod on my computer? i dont want to use my original copy cause it's scratched up enough as it is? does anyone know how to make an image on my D drive

hey there, iv worked with cd images for a number of years soo il give you a quick guide on how to make/install an image. this will involve installing a few programs so if you do not trust any programs i will recommend in this guide then i do not expect you to use it. all of the tools you will need to download are free and safe to use first of all you will need to install two programs. first one id "daemon tools" which can be downloaded from www.daemon- tools.cc install is fairly easy so i wont bother doing an installation run through for it. make sure you download the free lite version. the second program you will need is "magic iso" witch can be downloaded from "http://www.filehippo.com/download_magiciso/" installation is also easy. once both programs are installed reboot. then after reboot save the files from your original diablo disk onto your hard drive, then create an iso file using magic iso. then right click on daemon tools in the bottom right corner of your desktop, and have a larl fidal till you figure out how to mount. when you have figured it out open the cd image you just made with daemon tools and you should get promt as you would if you just fired the cd into your cd-drive i will check back semi-regulary for a few days incase you have any questions or problems

conmanpoint, i have a problem with this. When i try to install LoD it says that i need to insert the "play disc" (which i do not have) How can i get this resolved so i can install LoD?
