I want to have a game of Diablo 2:LOD with one Mac running OX 10.4 and a Windows XP PC, when I go to TCP/IP I write down the IP addresses shown, host a game on the PC or Mac then try to join the game by typing the IP of the host but it says "Can not connect to server". Is this possible? Both games are 1.10. Any ideas? Thanks

Even connected you have to be in the same ip range. Make sure your ip addresses are in the same range, make sure the windows firewall is not blocking the ports. Make sure you can ping the other machine and that your cable is actually a crossover cable not a straight through.
