ok well i just got diablo "the first one" from a friend cause i havent play'd it in forever,i instaled it and open'd it. it plays the video at the start and then crashes. then my pc asks me to send an error report. i dunno why it wont play. i can play starcraft fine and i can play other games, i know my pc is really crappy but it should at least play diablo.... oh yeah the system requirement's are windows 95: windows 95 or NT 4.0,Pentium 60 MHz, 8 MB RAM, double-speed CD-ROM drive (diablo cd must be in drive to play)windows 95-Compatible sound card and mouse,local bus SVGA Video Card (directX Compatible).... well i hope i can get help with this cause i wanna play diablo again...lol, thx alot guys

www.blizzard.com there's a lot more help there then here. it's funny how some ppl come here to post when they should go to the game's official website to request support first. the system requirements are clearly not the problem. your system configuration is more than likely sub-optimal or there is a hardware incompatibility. they're not going to release any newer patches either. why would they? You said you wanted to play Diablo. Just buy Diablo II. Same game just 20x better.

could be that Diablo won't run on Windows XP. Right-click on the icon on your desktop, and press properties. After that change system compatibility from Windows XP to Windows 95/98 then it shuld work fine. www.mrharlequinsucks.com "As hard as a rock, as fat as a cock".

oh yeah i forgot to say, i got it to work. All i had to do was go update my graphics card's driver

Yeah, Diablo works in XP, I tested that theory about 4 1/2 years ago. Just don't use a burned disc; Blizzard games won't run with burned discs. This computer is f---ed...
