I've been playing FarCry for the last couple days and came to spot I can't seem to get past. I finally decided to get a little "help". Problem is none of the cheat codes work. There is one that involved modifying the devmode file and then running the game in development mode. I cannot get the game to start up in dev mode though. I put the -DEVMODE on the end of the command line parameter and I just get an error. This is the second game I've tried to use this method for and it never works. Does anyone know why this works for them but not for me?

Hmm I cheated in Far Cry too with this. I got a program from a website that allowed my to press certain keys and it would enter the cheats. The three websites you could check are www.gameburnworld.com or gamecopyworld.com or megagames.com im too lazy to get u a link so your gonna have to do it on your own. Im pretty sure that none of the programs aka "trainers" have viruses as i never got any from them.

No, STOOOPPP!! I know what you feel like, it's frustrating, I know, I made the same mistake and put the difficulty level on 4 from 1 to 5 (talented I think it's called) and also got stuck more than one spot for weeks at a time, it's a brutal game. And in frustration I also tried to get a patch to activate the GodMode but it didn't work, thank god. After that also not working I just decided to try-try again as they say, bite the bullet and just go for it; I studied the games' A.I., sniped A LOT and took my time with each stage. It worked! I eventually finished the game 3 months after starting it and the feeling was great, still is. Don't cheat. Just get a walktrough or something but don't -godmode- before finishing it once. It's worth it. It's a GREAT game (multiplayer too), can's wait for far cry 2, anyone has news about that? Here are some Tips: DON'T RELOAD! (takes too long, you'll get killed every time) Just switch to the next weapon and reload later, granades and rocket launcher are your friends for long range and 12-gage for short range combat. And 3 more word of advise: HEADSHOTS, HEADSHOTS, HEADSHOTS. Where exactly are you stuck, maybe we can help you. Good luck. Peace.
