I need help badly the sims 2 starts up fine but then it freezes and a windows device failure pops up and the display goes all cartoon like . i went to the sims2 website they said its the graphics card and i need to download drivers. i think its a radeon igp 340m graphics/ video card i cant find anything to help me please help me!!!!!

Give us full system specs.

Amount of RAM
Processor
Motherboard
Graphics card

Sims 2 is pretty hard on a graphics card.

Here is a program that can help you gather all that system info.

From what it sounds like you may need to upgrade or rid your computer of unwanted background tasks. Good luck, hope this helps.
