|Yes, your laptop has a video accelerator, but it's not a good one. And the accelerator is built into the laptop, it's NOT replaceable, it can NOT be upgraded. You can try installing a more updated driver, but that's the limit of what you can try. If the new driver doesn't allow you to play the game, nothing will.|
I just posted the following in your other thread. I'm repeating here just in case the new thread gets deleted because you violated the rule about double posting:
"I asked you to post your system specs. At least you've added that you have an Amilo li 2727 laptop, so now I can look up the specs for you.
Here's a review showing that you have the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100:
I did some googling & it seems that gaming with the GMA X3100 is "hit or miss"...some games will play, others will not. Try installing the latest available drivers. Click on the following link, click "ACCEPT", then click "Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows Vista * 32 (exe)". Make sure you note exactly where it's downloading to. After the download is complete, simply double click on the file to install the driver. You'll probably have to reboot after it's installed.
After the reboot, try your game. If it's still not playable, that's it...you're done. There's nothing you'll be able to do to play it on that laptop. You need a better machine."
