hi i am trying to find a better graphics card for my dell dimension 3000 and was wondering if i could have a list of graphics cards i could get for it. what i already know is that it can only hold a PCI graphics card. thanks

How much are you will to spend?

This is the best you are going to do with PCI. It will be a huge boost in video performance over what you have now, but as for is it worth it? I would say no, but if you plan on having your pc for a couple years or more longer then it might be.

There's no point in buying a 9400GT for the PCI bus, anyway. Any card faster than the GeForce 6200 or FX-5500 will be limited by PCI.

I was just showing him the best that he could get with PCI interface. I mean it does have one big advatnage over any other pci gpu and that's the memory bit rate which will help, just not as much as on faster interfaces would.
