okay heres the deal befor i got a real graphic card i was stuck with intergrated video...be the thing is when i had that running cz i had 30 fps. Now when i run css i still get 30 fps or a little higher...with the ATi Radeon 9600 Pro worked fine i had no problems with it its just that i would like to know how to get better or a stabler fps rate. Is there something im missing ? everything is set low and i still get 30 wth...:( anyways my specs are...
AMD 2500+ (2.0GHz)
512 RAM
80 HDD ATA-100
Dual Moniter set up
MSI board
Sound Blaster LS 5.1 Sound Card
Logitech 5.1 speaker system 80 watts <-- sounds nice :}-lost

Here's a very easy way to get your FPS higer: get an extra 512-stick of RAM. I guarantee you will see a speed increase in everything you do on your computer.

The 9600Pro is MUCH better than integrated, plus it has the added advantage of freeing up the system RAM that was used by the integrated. You should be getting better framerates with the card & I'm sure the "look" of the game is much better. Depending on your board, you should be able to raise the CPU speed up to 2.2GHz (11 x 200MHz). You should also increase you RAM amount to 1GB (2 x 512MB PC3200) as was recommended by Adam.
Have you tried shutting down all unnecessary background programs (including anti-v) while playing? And if you're running a screensaver, disable it.
Are your video drivers & motherboard chipset drivers up to date?

yes they are up to date i have a MSI board....not sure what model tho how much would 1 gb of ram cost on like a site say new egg or tiger direct cost ? let me know thanks oh and if i o/c my processer wouldnt that like evenutally crack my cpu ? but the thing is i want better fps no matter what but i have no cash to buy ram at the moment...so just by o/c my cpu should do the trick ?

btw whats anti-v? i have the ATi catalyst driver thingy...im gonig to o/c my card to a AMD 2600+ i think that should do it right ?
