CPU/Ram: amd xp 3200+ 1 gig ram

hey i'm having a problem when i run my video strees test in counter strike.
the panels in the beginning that rotate
well instead of having those panels, they're replaced with big red letters sez(error) and they rotate i have not changed my system and a week ago it was fine????????????????

i have a bfg 5500 oc 256mb vid card

try reinstalling drivers.
Sorry, this is the only thing I can think of.

dont worry about the stress test, if the video works fine in the game, then its fine. yea i know, it happens all the time, an A student may fail the test sometimes.

thanks guys i was gettin alil worried about it but yes it runs fine the only thing i can see a difference in is it hiccups for like the first 5 mins then its fine i dont know but anyhow thank you

I get the same red spinning error message as well, the only thing i think that resolves it is to wait till steam redownloads the stress test again. REinstalling drivers or the the whole games does not fix it I tried, I sent Steam a bug report and they said they are working on it.

i sent them a bug report to,
they never go back to me.i reinstalled the game a few times and installed drivers and i know your right it dont work.but im glad to see im the only one that dont have that problem thought i was a weird case.

I read on another forum that they have removed the spinning panels from the stress test, hence why everyone(me included) is now seeing the spinning errors. Dont worry about it.
