I really hope that someone can help me out here. I have been playing planetside for a while now and the past couple of weeks I can't even play because it keeps crashing on me. I downloaded all the patches and everything and when I log into the game it says 'data on client does't match data on server, please patch or update' and then within 5 minutes it will crash for no reason at all. I have called sony numerous times and no one can help me. I pay monthly for this game and I think it is definately worth it, if it just works for once! I have reinstalled the game, done a scan of updates, and installed new radeon drivers. Nothing has worked. Maybe someone can help, please.

If this is the only game that is crashing on you. Reinstalling the game will not work. You must delete the folder in which the game is found. This is because if an error occurs, it sometimes writes itself to the hardrive, and it is not uninstalled when you reinstall the game because its not part of the games content. Therefore you must delete the folder in which the game is found and any other folder the game might use. And once you do this uninstall the game if u can the normal way. Then install the game fresh. Make sure it does not say to reinstall, it must say that u want to install the game or you have not deleted all the content.
If this is not the solution, and this is the only game it crashes on, then the problem error might be written outside the directory of the game, or you have other problems which there is a long list of. Shortly said reformat your computer if the solution above does not work.
