Hello,

I originally posted my question in Manhuntkotor's PCI
thread, but I think everyone has stopped reading his post
since he repeated it several times. I've found most of the answers on this site already, but I know nothing about graphics card naming systems and have been trying to find out specifically if the card will work with a particular game.

Thanks for other advice, as it's helpful to me as well. I have a lame Dell as a secondary PC to my Mac. It meets all the recommended game requirements other than graphics, but has no agp slot so I'm stuck trying to find a PCI.

I know the MX 4000 won't work, but I'm wondering if the GeForce FX5200 will work with these system requirements:

Minimum: 64MB GeForce (tm) 3 or higher, or ATI(R) Radeon 8500 or higher (excluding GeForce 4 MX).

Reccommended: 128 MB GeForce FX 5600 or higher or ATI(R) Radeon 9600 or higher.

If I have to pay more than $60 or $70, I might as well get an Xbox.

Also, some people said to get the FX5200, while others picked the FX5700LE. I understand they both suck, but do they have specific advantages? 5700 is obviously a higher number, but how much does the LE take it down?

Thanks.

The FX5200 does fit the min specs, so it should work, but don't expect the game to run all that well. Only having a PCI slot kinda screws you because there ain't much available anymore.

If all you have is PCI, your basicly screwed. If that is really your only choice, I would recommend this card:
