Now whenever I got into steam everything is fine till I load a game and go to server list now whenever I try to connect to one the instant I click connect it says "steam has found a error and needs to close* or something like that than I need to restart my computer. Please help me I dont wanna have a 20$ paperweight.

Steam is known for constant problems. I bought Half Life a few weeks ago to play CS because you need a valid serial #. Steam updates their software damn near every other day so it should resolve itself. Some updates work great and some creates even more headaches. I wish they would just leave the damn thing alone.

It's a pain in butt, but it will most likely fix itself. The only other thing I can tell you is to reinstall, but remember your Steam account info. Good luck.

TECHZAPORT OUT!!!

Tell me about it, there's nothing wrong with any of the mods.
The updates usually come out every wednesday, and in most cases its fixing their own updates.
PLUS they don't even have enough bandiwdth for these updates

Just uninstall and reinstall. I had to do this a few times before it worked. After you install, right click on cs in the game menue and make sure the update is at 100%.

If ur getting an error when the comp starts then open steam and in the options change it so it doesnt try and run on every start-up. Its best if u hav as little as possible in ur system tray anyway..
