Since installing my Linksys WAG354G-UK modem router firewall, my son can play CSS but appears limited in the number of servers he can access (compared to when we just had a single modem connection without hardware firewall). I think I may need to set port forwarding on the hardware firewall but need to know what application name to specify and the ports/protocols to set up. Can anyone help? Thanks Shaun

Unless it's specific to your modem, you don't need any ports forwarded for CS:S just to play. You only need to forward ports if hosting your own server.
I would recommend checking for an upgraded firmware for your firewall/router. It possibly could be newer firmware within your router cause issues, so possibly downgrading to an older firmware may solve the problem, too. Try upgrading first though.
