I have a problem with my whole network. We have had Comcast come to our house at least 10 times over the last year.We have our direct cable line(from utility box)split in our basement. One split goes to our TVs, the other directly to our Comcast modem. Comcast has supplied many modems to try to resolve this issue, this has not helped. From our modem we use a Netgear RangeMax 824 wireless to support 2 desktop computers and a Xbox 360 all wireless. Our connection gets timed out at least 4 times daily. This occurs when my children are playing World of Warcraft on a desktop, and Halo 3 live on Xbox. Each time my children become outraged because they are kicked back to the login area of their computers. We have tried a direct lan wire from our modem to both Xbox and the gaming computer, we still gets crashes when using the direct line. I am at wits end, I thought about switching to a N band router for more band width, but as I mentioned earlier the problem still occurs with a direct line from my modem to my computer or Xbox. Any help is appreciated.
