Howdie folks!

I'm looking to upgrade my computer in anyway i can, instead of buying a new one.
I'm wondering if anybody could recommend any upgrades, my current specs are below. I know it's not alot, but what could i do to improve gameplay? Money isnt really an issue, thankyou for any help.


Time Computer:

Processor - 1.73 gigahertz AMD Athlon XP 2200+
Windows XP
1.50GB RAM
80GB HD
Geforce FX 5200 (Yes, i know!)

Without knowing what games you play, it's very hard to make a recommendation.

Also, it would help if you listed your motherboard's make and model since that largely determines what upgrades you can even make.

What is your power supply?

Upgrading the video card will boost your PC's game-playing abilities the most.

Even a cheap GeForce 7600GS or Radeon X1650Pro would be several times faster than the FX5200.

In upgrading when money is not an issue that means that you can really go for the beast of a machine. its better that you can specify us with your budget and the use or game that you want to play. Than we can recommend any upgrade for you.
