Howdie folks!
I'm looking to upgrade my computer in anyway i can, instead of buying a new one.
I'm wondering if anybody could recommend any upgrades, my current specs are below. I know it's not alot, but what could i do to improve gameplay? Money isnt really an issue, thankyou for any help.
Time Computer:Processor - 1.73 gigahertz AMD Athlon XP 2200+
Windows XP
1.50GB RAM
80GB HD
Geforce FX 5200 (Yes, i know!)Regards,
Nect.

Without knowing what games you play, it's very hard to make a recommendation.
Also, it would help if you listed your motherboard's make and model since that largely determines what upgrades you can even make.
What is your power supply?
"Enough, enough bowing down to disillusion!
Hats off & applause to rogues & evolution!
The ripple effect is too good not to mention.
If you’re not affected, you’re not paying attention!"

Upgrading the video card will boost your PC's game-playing abilities the most.
Even a cheap GeForce 7600GS or Radeon X1650Pro would be several times faster than the FX5200.
Pentium III--Descendant of Intel Core.
Pentium III-S 1400 @ 1.63GHz, 512K L2
X800XT AIW OC 580/600
2GB of RAM
250GB HD
SB Audigy 2
QDI Advance 12 mobo
Smugly running Vista

In upgrading when money is not an issue that means that you can really go for the beast of a machine. its better that you can specify us with your budget and the use or game that you want to play. Than we can recommend any upgrade for you.
