Perhaps somebody can help me.
Whenever I play a full screen game on my pc inevitably (sometimes sooner, sometimes later) I get kicked out of the game and back to the desktop. The game is still running (I can hear it via the the speakers) but it is now in the background and I have to press the icon (for want of a better word) on the status bar to return to the game, and it is driving me nuts (which isn't much of a stretch I'll admit! :->) whenever this happens. Does anyone have a solution to this??? For example, my current favourite game that I have become hooked on is "Call of Duty 2" and (usually my I'm getting my a$$ kicked) I will be kicked out of the game and returned to the desktop. As I said before the game is still running I just have to click on the icon on the status bar in order to return to the game. This problem happens/has happened on every game that I've played and I have no I idea why.
My computer:
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core
2 Gigs of Ram
Plenty of hard drive space
My video card is a nVidia GeForce 7300 GT with 256 MB of Ram
My OS is Windows XP Pro with SP2 and all the other fixes.Any solutions/ideas would be very much appreciated!!!!!!

Get a decent video card. The 7300GT is very low end. In the meantime, try lowering your game settings.

Are you sure you aren't hitting the Windows key on your keyboard? It's been 13 years since Win 95 came out, yet I still hit the dang thing during gaming sessions. :P
