My computer shuts down while playing games powered by the popular program "Steam". I have heard lots about people complaining about the same problem, but nobody has found a soluiton. It is definatly not the power supply, i changed that already and it still happened. It is also not the temperature, my CPU stays around 30 degrees Celsius. I recently bought a new graphics card, but that does not seem to be the problem, because i played the game like 3 or 4 times with it. This problem just occured yesterday. The games usually shut down RIGHT before they are done loading, like on the last step. The games are Day Of Defeat: Source, CounterStrike, and Half-Life 2 deathmatch. Please Help
Thanks for your time :)

man, i didnt work, it just came up with a blue screen that said it was caused by nv4_disp.dll, so i figured it was the driver that was the problem. So i reinstalled my original driver (i had played Day of Defeat on it a few times) and it still did not work. im starting to think maybe something is wrong with the graphics card, but it is less that 2 weeks old. please help somebody
thanks

yes!! i think i may have fixed it. i dwonloaded the latest Forceware and i ran the game in a window instead of full screen, and it worked. i played the game for over an hour, so i think the problem may be resolved. but im not sure
