I recently borrowed a friend's copy of Command & Conquer 3. It installed cleanly. When you try to actually play the game, my computer restarts. It does with with other games too as well. What could be the problem?

Do you overclock any of your hardware. Most of these unusual restarts happens either because of RAM, CPU, GPU or the OS itself. It may because of heat issues whereby the computer does not have enough ventilation no matter how fast or great your system is. Make sure your computer was built with both intake and outtake. Make sure that all your fans working correctly.
