CPU/Ram: 3.0ghz HT,512mb ddr

my computer is having a configuration of 3.o ghz and 512 mbs of ddr ram 120 gb hddsk. it gets restarted when i play any game like age of empires, counter strike and quake.i am not having any video card and there is not any heating problem with the computer. plz send me a proper solution for troubleshooting the computer.my email id is ankur.bitsian@gmail.com

It is impossible not having any video card because the monitor wont have anything on it. You should whether is stock or not. You should also try talking to a technician.

He's obviously using 'onboard' graphics.

As stated you should get a dedicated graphics card.

It may also be a weak psu?

even with onboard graphics, these games will work fine. Age of empires is about 10 years old and intergrated is better now then dedicated was then so dont tell him to waste 100 bucks on a graphics card when he really wont need it for any of these 8-10 year old games.

From the information you have supplied I would say your power supply is failing. Check what the brand is and how many watts it is producing and get back to us. If you cannot find the brand, its probably generic and probably weak. I would suggest upgrading to something along the lines of an antec 350w PSU for 50 bucks...
