computer crashing when playing games

Im in need of some help. Every time i go to play a game my computer crashes. I dont get a black screen or even a blue one. there is no error message cause the the game just freezes like a still pic. The harddrive light stops flashing sometimes when it has crashed. I have a JEANTECH 500Watt PSU Nvida geforce 7300GT 512MB 2GB Kinston DDR ram, AMD64 3800+ X2 Dual core running at 2.2Ghz. My biso temps for the cpu are 36c after playing when ive been forced to restart coz of the crash i dont know what my GPU is running at as i dont know where to find the temp for that but at the moment its clocked at 66. Please anyone.. someone out there help me.
