hey whast up guys, i ahve a big problem with my cod and cod uo... all the servers i go into, after a second or two in game, it does the most wierd type of freeze thing ever. :S it freezes up totally for a second, then its fine for a second, then freezes for a seconf the fine for a sec. and doesnt stop doing it untill i restart my computer... it also does that wierd freeze type thing once im out of game and it effects my windows the exact same way causing me to restart my computer. i just need to know how to fix this problem.. ive been looking everywhere and with no luck. also there is only one server i can go into and play fine it, its called aa|Bring it..... and ive notices just a day or two ago that punkbuster was not enabled ont hat 1... i was even wondering if punkbuster could be the problem also. so if u have any ideas on how to help it would be grately appreciated!!

Hey it's good to see another CoDUO player! Anyway, it could be that your PB client is so outdated that the PB enabled servers are causing you problems. You might want to also try uninstalling, and then reinstalling your video drivers. Another thing you can do is pull down the console by hitting the tilde (~) key ingame and looking for errors. Also, have you tried a reinstall of the game? "Computer security." — Oxymoron

well as of right now i have uninstalled all my cod's and everything related to cod. and i am reinstallin them tomorrow morning cuz my bro has them locked in him room.. lol, so, if it still has the same problem, i will try the stuff u told me to try, ill try them and let u know what comes up.

well i re-installed everything i had to, didnt try reinstlaling the pb or norton yet, but i just went into 2 of the servers that i thought i remmeberd made it freeze up like that, and they seem to be working fine.. BUT (theres always a but..lol) IF it does decide to mess up again, i will let u guys know and i will try doing what u told me to in the last post

ok... after i re-installed it, it was wroking fine untill the second server i went to... but this time, it didnt do the freezee thing after 2 second like it always did... this time i was playing fine for about 10 minutes and THEN it did it. its never happned like that before.

Y'know, I had the same problem w/ CoD UO, and it turns out that my issue was graphics related. I clocked my video card too high w/ coolbits and it was causing the strangest lags and hangs, even when I just left a perfectly functioning game into windows. If you've overclocked your card, return it to stock speeds. If you haven't, try lowering the clocks significantly, and if the problem stops, then that's the cause. I wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself.

ok. but i dont think that thats my problem... i think my probem was the norton anti virus. supposably norton and pb have conflicts with eachother. as long as i disable norton while im playing my uo it seems to be fine. if it decides to start freezing again, ill try lowering my graphics card settings adam. thanks.
