Comment:
when I installed Civilization 4 I got a "The software you are trying to install has not passed Windows Logo testing the software will not be installed". Now heres the weird thing, the game still installed and I could run it, but when I installed the update I got the same error. I decided to reinstall the game, but when I uninstalled it, guess what, I got the error even when Im uninstalling it....
how do I fix this Windows Logo test error? Also My computer passes min requirements
Go into My Computer properties and select the hardware tab. Click Driver Signing and either click Igore or Warn not Block.
If you're on XP Pro, you may also need to: Open gpedit.msc (Start>Run>gpedit.msc), in there there somewhere there is a setting for Digitally Signed and Tested Drivers and the appropriat action. The default value should be "Warn but allow installation".
