Hi,

I need help to buy a graphics gard (gc). I have $100-200 Australian to spent and i want to get the best performance available. I am looking at the Redeon 9200 or FX5200-5600 but my budget is tight and i want to play GTA-Vice City. My aging Geforce 2 MX 200 is crap and i want a new one.

9700 Pro, $180 at Newegg. Or 9800 Pro(best budget card out there) for $210 at Newegg.

Dont go4 FX52/5600 or Radeon 9200 cause both s##ks. I bought it so i know. Try FX5700 above (not the XT version) or Radeon 9600 above (not the SE version). Emm i think Newegg uses USDollar not AusDollar right???Dunno. But i hope it helps.

9800 pro for $210??? That would hav to be american mate, in Aus ur lookin at over $400 for that card. I hav a 5600 and its not that bad, havnt really had a good game to test it on though..

I wouldnt want to buy a 5200 though, cause they dun seem to be much beta than the GF4 MX which u could get for like $80.

The 9600pro mite be a good choice but i dunno it is prob a bit over $200

In that case choose 9600 Pro or XT. It kicks ass.
