I've been searching around ebay for used games that i've missed out on over the years. I'm getting bored of the games I already have and I can't buy Half-Life 2 because my sister has already bought it me for christmas, and is keeping it under lock and key..
Games i've been playing:
Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 (Educational, just not exactly exciting after a few hours)
Doom3 (Oh so teadious and drawn-out, can't be bothered to finish it)
Farcry (been there, done that to death)
Call of Duty (Great, but done to death)
Call of Duty United Offensive (too short, Completed in two days)
GTA 3 & Vice City (I just want San Andreas PC already)
Mafia (Done that, limited replay value compared to GTA)
Theif 3 (Great, finished it, just no replay value)
NFS Underground (Novelty has totally worn off, not willing to buy Underground 2)
BF1942 (Pretty boring after a while)...I've bought some cheap 2nd-hand games from Ebay and I'm waiting for them to arrive:
Soldner - Secret Wars (has worrying reviews and is rated as mediocre)
Freedom Fighers (Seems to get excellent reviews, i've never heard of it though)
Operation Flashpoint - Cold War Crisis (Gets good reviews, but is nearly 4 years old??)Can anyone reccomend any others worth a look?
Are Hitman 1&2, Max Payne 1&2, Splinter Cell any good?
Other games i've seen going really cheap are:
Starsky and Hutch, Platoon, Bad Boys II, Pirates of the Caribbean (Sea Dogs 2) are they any good??
Alternatively, I might just buy Rome - Total War.. Is it any good though? i've played the demo but it just seems a bit like a cross between stronghold crusader and command and conquer, but with better graphics??

Splinter Cell is awesome
i played it for a couple weeks and beat it and then i went on a gaming marathon and beat it in 2 days on PS2
the controls are a little awkward for a keyboard i hear but im sure you can find a nice gamepadI myself didnt like Freedom Fighters when i played it o a friend's gamecube and the grphics were so terrible after playing farcry lol
it just wasnt funhmmm, hitman was prety cool wheni played it on my fiend's gamecube but it's purely subjective
i would recommend you to get Worms Armageddon! it's soooo much fun when ou get fairly good
you can customize all this stuff and its just fun
it still has online multiplayer too

Soldier of fortune IIIm assuming you have already played half life 1 but if not it is a great game or atleast until you get to xen. It got really wierd at that map and i was totally dissapointed at that point of the game.
Have the lambs stopped crying Clarice?

if u download new player/weapon models for counter strike, the game looks a lot better. u need an original cd key to play it.

Noticed you got a simulator so you could try Freelancer, has a very nice plot and control of your ships is tight. Also look into the sims, try to get the package with all 8 expansions, Joint ops is a very nice multiplayer game (totally awesome and the people in it are real cool with not caring much about their score and helping out most of the time), and lastly Get Morrowind if you have some patience. probably going for $20 with its expansions.
